Chad and I have had lots of fun this summer, and we're sad to see it go! We went on vacation to California last month for a family reunion (Disneyland and Oceanside - it was awesome!). Unfortunately, we left around the busiest time at Cinnamon Tree - Check-Outs and Check-Ins! We jumped right back into everything as soon as we got back. Luckily, the busiest part is now over, all the students have started school, and all the deposits are sent back. So I get to breath, but Chad doesn't :( (he just started up full time school again). He's been doing great keeping up on everything, but we definitely are enjoying the time we get to spend together even more than usual. I've been coming up with hobbies to do while he's doing homework. I have practiced a little cooking (it's getting better!) and baking, cleaning (yay!), putting up seasonal decorations (I love Fall decorations!) and I think I will start scrap-booking our wedding pictures.
(When Chad brings his computer home, we'll put up some pictures of some things we did this summer). Happy Fall!

It's about freakin' time.
Amen.
I remember the days when Dave was in school and I tried to fill my time with hobbies. I got into ceramics classes and eventually got good enough I taught a class at the old Provo Craft. It was fun!
Oh, you posted! I loved our trip, and I'm glad you and Chad could come. (And yes, I read your post last week, but didn't have time to comment.) Glad you'll have time for some hobbies - you've been so busy with work and school, that it'll be nice for you to choose some of your activities! Enjoy!
Wow, mom commented on your blog. Go mom! And I think it's so cute she took ceramic classes while she was missing her honey.
